Is Extension 2 English worth doing? (1 Viewer)

So my teacher has been consistently urging me to take on Extension 2 English as she believes I'll be able to handle it and do well, my concern is that I'm not sure about a few things such as:

• Will I be motivated enough to do the work?
• There isn't enough regulation to prevent people from cheating/submitting a Major they purchased/borrowed off a friend?
• Is the amount of effort that is required to get a good mark in a good ratio to the scaling and marks it will provide for my ATAR?

Extension 2 isn't something I would do for the marks/scaling. You should do it if you actually enjoy writing and want to work on something as a 'major project' for a whole year. It's only worth 1 unit, but the work is substantial and, if you get really into it, you'll be spending a lot more hours on it than your other English subjects.
