This, school certificate is (or should I say was) a joke and the results are indicative of nothing.
Pretty much. I mean it's a good joke if you don't do that well but at the end of the day if you're intending to go on to do the HSC, the SC results are quite meaningless. It's just a way to say you have some qualifications when you speak to potential employers/etc.

88 is a good mark to be honest, considering that there's a few people from fully and partial selective schools that get like under 85 probably for their SC external exams.
I got 90 on the dot and I considered myself as being awfully lucky. SC Science is way different from HSC Chemistry, Physics and Biology.
LOL like me? :) I only got 2 band sixes in SC.. oh wait, same for HSC (can't believe I got 89 for two subjects). But my lack of effort during HSC was due to other reasons I hope rather than inability.
