Hi I was wondering if I can get above 80 UAI? Especially since I am sure my HSC mark will be much higher, as I have been working hard since trials...
I go to a school in the top 50, my marks and ranks are:
(I do 11 Units)

English Adv : 64/106 Overall mark 70%
French Continuers: 1/8 Overall mark 84%
French Ext: 1/1 Overall mark 66%
Mathematics: 72/81 Overallmark 56%
Physics: 32/52 Overall mark 69%
Business: 20/72 Overal mark 75%

Thanks for your time

Does this mean it is still possible to get over 80 without too much trouble, although am nearly certain my phsyics mark will be quite high in comparison to the above mark. And my maths wil be aswel, our school usually does very well in maths as we have a very high standard... although depressing for me at times eheh

Depending on your French, since you are the only one doing it. It all depends on you. Good luck

So far, 78

In 2003, English advanced will scale down unless you have an aligned mark greater than or equal to 90 according to UAI Seeker.

Really? Jeez that scary... I don't think I will be able to get a mark higher than 90...

Not really scary. English Advanced is better than Standard, because you are scaled even worse in Standard.

This isn't the case; you can't compare aligned marks with scaled marks. The scaled mean is the only valid indicator of whether a course scaled up or down.

Both Standard and Advanced are scaled in exactly the same way.
