I'm considering buying a new computer or lap-top
and was wondering if there is any method in me
claiming the 50% tax refund? I find it absurd that
they make it accessible to secondary students and
even fucking primary school students and not too
university students.
Anybody know much about this? :)

Doubt it. Plus, do you pay sufficient tax to even make it worthwhile?

You might be able to claim back part of a laptop's worth through other means if your degree is directly related to your job and the courses you take will lead to possible job advancement...or something like that.

so if you're like an undergrad engineer working for a company and they require you to finish your degree in order to advance to the graduate program.

What if our parents claim it as education expenses then? The financial year hasn't ended yet so maybe it will work...
