Our set text at school is Jacaranda HSC Physics. I've been working through motors and generators and found that some sections are appauling (eg generators), it just seems to go into way more detail than the syllabus requires. Has anyone else found this?

Also, are there any good textbooks for the HSC course that people could suggest?

(I've got Dot Point HSC Physics and its excellent)

Dot Point rapes all. Its pretty much notes for you.

Jacaranda covers everything but goes off in tangents alot. Too much information.
