The effects of highschool on future teen socialisation skills.

Is this question small enough to pass as a pip focus q?

At the moment I feel it's a bit confusing what exactly you'd be looking at, and it might be a bit too broad and difficult to do in one year. What "effects" are you planning to investigate? And how are you seeking to show how high school develops future skills? If you really wanted I would probably focus on one perceived skill, but even then how would you seek to measure it?

I guess my main confusion is with your choice of PIP topic in general, rather than whether it is too broad or narrow. Have you talked to your teacher about your proposed topic? Could you briefly elaborate what it is you're hoping to explore?

It's best to choose a topic you can do effectively in a year than something as awesome it may sound but would be too difficult to investigate in a year, considering high school and the future are likely to be more than a year apart. I'm sorry if this scares you, but choosing the right topic and research questions can be one of the hardest parts but also the most significant and rewarding. If you think I've completely misinterpreted you please feel free to correct me, I just think that in its present form I would alter the focus area to something smaller and more doable in a year. What really piques your curiosity about some aspect of human behaviour/cultural ritual/trend/subculture?

Good luck! :)
