ISP advice (1 Viewer)

Hello fellow religion studiers!

Yes it is true. That glint in my eye can only mean one thing- i have very little time until my ISP is due and i have only just decided on my topic.

Okay, i havent been as lazy as it looks- i did have a few ideas that have fallen through.

Basically what ive come up with is

Relgion and biography.

I have been juggling around with who to do. I am tossing up between Mother Teresa or the guy who started Scientology. I think the scientology guy (excuse me for my ignorance regarding his name- i have forgotten it) would be an interesting one to do.

Any advice? *smiles hopefully*

but scientology would be the most interesting
there so many websites with pages and pages of crap bragging out that cult...

One of my students did scientology...was hard to get accurate info as she had to actually contact them (which i wouldnt recommend) to do her question....there is a lot of stuff on the net but it is mostly negative (that is if the CoS has not already pulled it down which they are prone to do to the good stuff....

LOL...actually, she had to email them . Its the only way (other than what they call a "walkup" ie when you drop into one of their centres) that you can contact them for info......the email replies come from the US (not Aus) and you keep receiving followup emails etc to get you to try and come to one of their meetings... she used a hotmail account which she closed after about 5 emails from them this year alone.

the entranc is down a laneway i think, it's a white building.

isnt biography for the last minute 2 hard, like theres way 2 much 2 write on one person in like 600 words isnt there??
well i was gon do Muhammad (pbuh) for religion n biography but i was told it would be 2 hard, any advice??

@lilone...do a topic area that a) interests you and b) is "easy" to research. Im guesing by the "pbuh", you are a Muslim so why not do Islamic music or architecture? or if 1 unit, depiction of Islam in the media!!

I did my ISP on the architecture of the Notre Dame back in 2001. Everything was online and easily accessible. But whatever floats your boat really.
