Ok I thought that test was harder than 2001 and 2002. What ever happened to the STANDARD projectile motion and exponential growth and decay questions that they put in for the past ten years??? That shits me.

Think I got 60 overall.

12, 12, 9, 7, 9, 5, 6

Stupid Q4 (b) screwed up my timing. I got a wrong answer but I didn't know what I was doing wrong. Then I finally realised I forgot to put x in radians. Ended up with the right answer but it took up I think 10 mins of my time which is HUGE. Did not do any of Q6 (b), the last two parts of Q7 (b) and I ran out of time whilst attempting Q4 (d). Man they were the big mark questions and I didn't get any of them!!!

ARGGGGHHH!!! I got a shit rank aswell which is not gonna help either. I feel like shit now cause I thought I was well prepared.

Man I'm depressed.

how could that be hard?

i talked to my maths head after the test
went through largely with him

got 83.5/84 assuming no marks lost
but give 2-3marks lost at most for working errors / careless

wasn't that hard
i had enough time to go to the toilet to chuck a shit man
came bak and still had time to check through everything

the 1981 paper?! GEEZ how many past papers did you do!? I only did the papers from the last 3 years.... someone's obviously been studying too hard.

I thought it was pretty bad.

I'm sorry if we all can't be as smart as you are... believe it or not, even with studying your arse off, some of us might only be able to only get 70% percent or so, so stop trying to make others feel dumb, by telling us all how smart you are

Honestly, if you actually studied and still found that test hard, then you shouldn't be doing 3u. I did all my study last night, and still managed to do just about every question.

u have to realise some people find maths easy, some hard. otherwise why is there even a general course? and people find that hard

Umm...if you find maths hard, then why are you doing 3u and not general? Like I said, if you found that test incredibly hard then you should be doing an easier maths course.

there are some at my school that do find 3 unit very hard and will get about 30%, but they still do it for the challenge and to try and better them selves, honestly i think you should do the level of maths you are best suited and will get the marks to benefit from. cause honestly that was not a hard test ... it was basically text book questions....
