Hey guys. I'm having a bit of trouble with my ipod video files and wondering if anyone knows what to do!

I'm trying to put some DVDs onto my ipod (i have sucessfully converted them to mp4 files, which im told is what they need to be in, although i also have them in .avi format too).

Im just wondering how to get them to the actual ipod?

Ive trying pasting them in iTunes and 'importing' the file but it doesnt seem to work..

Am i doing something wrong?

Thanks

PS using mac OS.

not sure but I hope this helps

1. Open iTunes and click on "File" at the top. Click "Import," go to "My Documents" and click on the movie you wanted.
2. Plug in your iPod; depending on your settings, it should start updating and adding the movie to it. This may take awhile, depending on the size of the file.

It's from this site ... http://www.wikihow.com/Put-Free-Movies-Onto-an-Ipod-Video

try reencoding the file actually, most likely it is corrupted (or the ID3 tag is corrupted).
