1. you can have a seperate medicare card now. it will fall under your family, but you can have your seperate one. But I'm pretty sure you could've got that at 16? I just remember not needing to think about it when I moved out at 17.

2. 18+ proof of identity card from the rta rather than a drivers license

rta dont supply 18+ cards anymore, they use photocards which simply say your age, min. age to apply for that is 16 tho. so you'll be fine

you would be suprised, i know a bloke who "tried" alcohol once (just a sip) didn't like it, and never had it again. Hes now 20 and missing out on soooo much.
