I don't know how they at least didn't get him on the supplying alcohol to children charge because I am pretty sure he did do that.

i didnt think he was guilty.....but i thought they might have gone 'guilty' due to public pressure.

I better take that back though coz asquithian will be here soon to rabble out some law books and edit his post to perfection to tell me im somehow wrong ;)

Hmm then in that case I know a lot of people who should be in jail.

Celebrities should be out there entertaining the masses. Thats what is really important. They should be allowed a few concessions, and anyway... a little rape never really hurt anyone.

i've only seen parts of the evidence, mostly from thesmokinggun, and i have 2 admit, i was pretty convinced, i dont think he had sex with any children, but i do think there's was something going on, however minor, more importantly, i dont think he thought watever he was doing was wrong....i dont think wen ur michael jackson the trial can ever be truly fair (think OJ) and yes, some of the witnesses obviously didnt go as the prosecution planned.

but, i have 2 admit, the evidence was probably just A LOT of circumstancial evidence, if u've read the testimony of the kids, it isnt as compelling as u'd expect

edit: hopefully his career will fail and he'll become bankrupt and loose neverland, there's some punishment in that

The problem was that the main accuser and the incident that was trialed in this case was pretty shit. If you get a transcript of the testomony of some of the other people who claimed he molested them, they're much more convincing.

We'll never know for sure, will we? He's a bloody suss bloke, and I believed him to be gulity, but not on any substantial evidence.

Also - perhaps he did buy his way out. Perhaps his fame was a positive, rather than a negative.

I was surprised he's a free man.

I thought he'd be guilty of at least one charge and given like a good behaviour bond or something. To show true justice has been done.

It that occurred, it would show neither party had won.
