Got a Studies of Religion 2u assessment task on my first day, got a 2u and 3u maths exam in week 4 that I got notified on the first day... got an english AoS one in week 6 I think, and a Bio one in week 6.

the system whre they banned all email services (along with half the other sites on the net including google images, which i think they were able to allow for year 11 and 12 students.. or something like that apparently) and replace it with the DET's crappy email service which gives us like 2mb of storage or something really small like that.
then the whole using an i.d. to use the internet in the first place and so on... just all around stupid. all it did was piss everyone off (including the teachers)
well thats the system we have at normo, so i dunno if all the other schools have the same system, i imagine so

Yeah we have that. You have to log in when you want to use the computer and alot of sites are blocked e.g. hotmail, myspace and utube. Goodluck to everyone on their up and coming assessments.

Well second day back at school i get an assessment. I thought it was lame at first but then i realised i won't have another assessment for the rest of the term for this subject except my half yearlies. Unlike my other subjects were i have assesments due in week 7 and half yearlies in week9.

Anyone else recieved an assessment already?

Yeah, wait till term 2 comes.

You've gotta love the new internet system, don't you? Gmail is blocked. There goes any chance of teacher emails at school if I want to revise something they have told me. Digg is blocked, therefore there is no news for me and no interesting articles that may have relevance to any number of my subjects. Ninemsn is blocked - no news.

Way to disadvantage every student in NSW, DET.

On the subject of assessments, I have an English Extension 1 Narrative due on Wednesday, I'm pretty sure I have my Module A (or B) Advanced English task due sometime this term, I have a Software task that we know nothing about due in an exam week , English Extension 2 Viva Coce is happening soon, Music 1 composition is due on the 26th of Feb...
Yeah, I don't have much... <.<
