I heard that if you get cotton jerseys, the only design you can have is vertical and/or horizontal stripes, so anything with diagonals/designs/watermarks of the school logos has to be a polyester jersey.

Hmmm my jersey is "cotton/polyester" and has all the diagonal stripes and school logos in it.....

Does it look shiny or cotton-ish. I think the shiny look is very, very tacky.
