John Boyle's novel, 'The Boy in Striped Pyjamas' (1 Viewer)

This thread is not in relation to the moving picture adaptation of the novel.

Has anyone read it? It's a relatively short read. I don't think I've ever read anything like it, to be frank.

I was given it as a gift. Got a few chapters into the book. They just got to the house (forgot the name of it) and they peeked out the window and start discussing what they saw.

I never continued reading after that. book just didnt catch me, I wasnt really that interested in what was going on tbh. and the perspective of the boy didnt help.
