Have to do PFA, which is Beep Test + Push ups + Sit ups, then I believe you have to do the BFA to pass out, which is a 2.4km run, push ups and sit ups (not sure if beep test is included). I'm not 100% that BFA is required for reserves at Kapooka though.
How long would you have to train at Kapooka? Is that always the case with reserves, that we have to go there first or do we just train at our local army bases?

it's really not hard for a reasonably fit male 18-25, the initial entrance test is beep + push ups + sit ups like was said, and at a fairly easy level tbh. The next one after basic training with the 2.4 km run is a bit harder but after 4 weeks at kapooka you really should be able to complete it.

Initially you have to pass the pfa as previously said
7.5 in the beep test, 15 pushups, 45 sit ups

then you spend 28 days at kapooka
at the end of kapooka you must be pass the bfa to pass out
2.4km run in just over 11min and 30 push ups 60 sit ups i think

then you do modules with your unit and sometimes you go away to do modules with your corps

Isn't the BFA-

2.4km in under 10.30 (for males who are between 17-21 years old)
40 push ups
75 sit ups

?

If you can do 25 push ups, 30 sit ups, 10 chin ups and get 7 or higher on the beep test, you should be fine. They aren't looking for a full on athlete yet, they are looking for someone they can mold, but they do know that to mold something, you need clay, not a pile of shit.
