Captain Obvious kind of question here, but I just wanted to check:

If the question says "Compose a piece of writing..." we can do a speech or whatever, right? Not necessarily a story?

I figure if it says "imaginative writing" it's definitely gotta be a story but when it just says "a piece of writing", I'd rather write a speech. I find it easier to fudge a speech then a story

Generally they'll specifically tell you what text type to write in, as far as i know, correct me if im wrong
