Does anybody have a list of all the uni's in NSW which have medicine as a course? Also, what are the general requirements for entry into medicine?

Quick reply though - Newcastle uni and UNSW are the only ones that do med really.

the only unis i know of in nsw that have medicine are newcsatle, syd and unsw. that is why i was asking if there are any others

To be honest, I'm sick of people asking the most obvious questions when they have clearly not bothered to look for themselves. There's a damn stick about it, for crying out loud!

however, you say "people don't know as much". Well some simply know nothing and ask things like "How do I get into undergrad/grad med?"
Also since most of us here actually found out everything we need ourselves, it gets annoying when someone too lazy to goto a website (one click away) asks all these trivial questions (which have been answered a gazillion times over the year)

However, most questions don't get flamed at as they're probably hard to research for so I guess it's alright to post the trickier questions here(after they've searched to no avail). The n00b questions, however, must come to an end. (coz they're already in the forum somewhere)

correct brother! A reasonable question: "So do med students do pracs on corpses?". An unreasonable question: "What is the UMAT" or "How do I apply to UNSW medicine?". People who don't know the answers to these basic questions or are too lazy to find out clearly do not deserve to enter medicine in the first place. Again a reminder for all, please refer to the thread called "Forum rules". It gets really annoying answering the same questions over and over again.
