ooops sorri it was ARIA :p so use to blaming RIAA lolz
actually its not even the ARIA. It is actually called the MIPI and is established and funded by record companies and music publishers and acts as an anti-piracy arm for these organisations. It is affiliated with the (Australian Record Industry Association.)

That should clear it up.

Business Software Association of Australia, they govern most of the anti-piracy etc in Aus, pretty much the RIAA equivalent but is for Aus and governs software.

did anyone see the southpark episode where the kids download mp3s and get taken on a tour to see all these celebrities..
"theres Britney Spears, she really wanted to buy a new RF45 lear jet this year, but because of people like you downloading her music, she could only afford the RF44"

"master P promised his 5 year old son he could have a pacific island for his birthday, but because of people downloading music, he couldnt afford it"

Oomg.. It cost a lot of money to produce a cd ya know, and a lot of effort. We shouldn't just abuse the record companies' money and the producers', artists' etc's efforts. Not to mention there are tons of people that feeds off on CD sales, not just the artists, the record companies, e.g. the cleaners, the ad ppl etc etc. Its a big business that feeds a lot of mouths and you guys out there are making a lot of starving mouths you know
