how about the morality of something like kazaa for things other than music?!?! like... anyone who uses the net has access to the program.. just search google.. therefore an 11 year old has access to it..

now get an 11 year old typing in a search in K-lite ++ "sex" and they have immediate access to pornography... well.. for any age its immoral but thats another discussion.

true, but things such as pornography r taught to kids through other forms of media, certainly no one encourages the kid's behaviour, but does anyone question the maturity to the broadcast of these inappropriate materials by these other forms of media? (i.e. tv)

probbaly everyone on these forums using burnt CDs, so in a way we're all in the same boat as Kazza. I never used Kazza though, too many viruses, but my teacher did.
Anyway it is officially stealing or something, but I think they are right in stopping it, but it doesn't mean that I won't use burnt CDs

I don't use burnt cd's, people should buy the cds, a lot of people put tons of money, effort and even live off it and thats not only the artists themselves.

I like kazaa lite - i dl tv series lol

Whilst I use WinMX, I do not use it that often. It's my belief that if you like a band/singer then you should show your support by buying their album and rewarding them for their efforts (unless it's Britney Spears, download that bitch!).
Whats wrong with Britney? She co-writes her songs, she sings it, works her ass off, shes probably one of the hardest working artists around. Not to mention, tons of people work off Britney's bread, by cutting her income flow, tons of people would be affected too. You'll be amazed how big Britney's empire stretches. Why should Britney be given a different treatment?

It's good to know you like her so much. You know what, my care level isn't very high.

If they charged a *decent* amount for CD's, I'd buy them. Like, 20 dollars for a new album. Its cause the record company gets so much. Sure, artists suffer when people don't buy, but they are suffering anyway cause they are getting ripped off.

Yeah, they should realise that the market has changed and people can easily get the music they want for next to nothing. They can deal with that, or go bust.
