Those Mac keyboards are much heavier than they look.

Currently using the Logitech Cordless MX Duo

This is about $150 now.

Package contains a keyboard and mouse set:
- Logitech Cordless Elite Keyboard
- Logitech MX700 Cordless Optical Mouse (with recharging docking station/cradle), going for maybe $120 now.

In the future, I'm looking to purchase, when I have enough money saved up:

Microsoft Wireless Optical Desktop for Bluetooth

Going for about $250 ish at the moment, hoping it'll drop to sub $200 before I buy it.

or

Microsoft Wireless Optical Desktop Elite

This one's about the $180 to $200 mark, which is ideal. Might get this one instead over the Bluetooth (a bonus for me).

No mousemat for me.

If I don't get a new keyboard, then I'll probably purchase a new mouse beforehand:

Microsoft Wireless IntelliMouse Explorer for Bluetooth

This one is $120 thereabouts, pretty expensive - but half the cost of the complete keyboard + mouse bundle (Wireless Optical Desktop for Bluetooth, see above)

This mouse comes with the Wireless Optical Desktop for Bluetooth package, so I can save more by purchasing a new keyboard+mouse together.

or the (cheaper) Microsoft Wireless Optical Mouse

Cheaper than the Bluetooth mouse, about $50 to 60 bucks or so.

Hoping to get my wireless network up and running before xmas, if not by the new year (802.11g/54mbit LAN, I already have my switch with all PC's connected, my router and firewall enabled so it's all good now)

Maybe an iBook or pbook will join the entourage in the near future, depending on the $$$ saved. But I'm hoping to get a few wireless network cards installed on each PC, getting the Access Point up and running and going wireless (friends with laptops can come over and surf the net on the sofa/toilet/bed/whatever :p, assuming they buy 11g wireless cards in their lappies/desktops)

:)

Haha thanks Winston, you know the only reason I'm here is because it's your birthday ;) :p

Happy birthday Winston! Have a good one :D
(we can go drinking sometime :))

I finished my exams on friday (Nov 7) - so I have plenty of time to spare, lounging about at home, bumming, catching up on plenty of sleep and generally lazing about :D

Thanks for the welcome-back :)

Not *those* accidents fatmuscle :p

eg I made a mess in my pants (not true, just an example  )

But yes, I love the type of accident whereby you "somehow" walk into an XXX store, buy a porn mag and walk out... or not.

Purchasing alcohol and going to bars is fun too, especially when they don't ask for ID ("I'm a man!!!")

:D :D :p

That's not unusual?

I like the spam, only if it's subtle and not blatant spam.
