I am trying to prepare myself for the trilas and have no idea what to expect in the King Lear elective, what are you guys thinking? HOw are you studying for it?

im making notes on relevant productions/readings, linking them to the entire text, memorising a few quotes thats it

im farmiliarising myself with 2 critical theories and how they can be shown through staging techniques. also by addressing different themes and values recepted in different contexts..

by wriitng a general essay and hopefully tweaking it to a question.. (hopefully, being the key word)

ive just prepared an essay on productions and the readings...i hope thats enough. hey do any of you guys know about chaos and order and duty and bond and all those kinda themes?

u dont need 2 know bout themes, they cant ask u that in the hsc nemore coz of the way they mark the modules. i guess, theoretically, u could be asked bout it in ur trials, but they shouldnt do it coz the trials r meant 2 be a model of the actual hsc.
