Hey
From wat ive read all you guys seem to be focusing on readings.. e.g. Marxist, Absurdist, Elizabethan etc and it seems u are then giving examples of the productions that display, or hold true to these readings... I have been taught on the actual productions e.g. Peter Brook, Sydney Theatre Company Rodney Disher etc and I plan to talk about each production and wat techniques are used etc and then MAYBE mentioning what type of reading it is but minimal detail cause i dont know much about the readings.. have i been taught wrong? Im mega confused ??

Interpretations are important to the King Lear course. They are necessary to show how the values of the play can be variously interpreted. Same with the productions.
