Lagging sound in a movie (1 Viewer)

i have a movie that had sound that lags. it doesnt go with thevideo. is there anyway to fix this?

chuck it into any movie editing program eg Premeire or virtual dub or video vegas.

Drag the sound line until it is closer to synchronization. Save the .avi

if its a movie file and its fuking up...then u just got a shit quality movie file

its a DVd rip i downloaded. the quality of the movie is good and the sound is good. but they just out of line

orite...does that movie start off retarded or is it in sync at the beginning and get worse after a while...

did you like speed up the seek button, coz that sometimes happens to me. especially if oyu are playing from a cd drive..or liek somebody said, its a crappy movie file.

I think you might be able to do something about this in a prog called VideoLAN. If you press "ctrl - L" I think you can move it so it's in sync... I remember reading about it somewhere

it could also be the fact your computer is having a hard time to keep up - how fast is it? newish or?

i doubt that should cause too much trouble, mine's 6 years old and copes fine

nah its def not my PC being slow. 2.4 gig and 1 gig ram.

its only that movie that i watch

yeh the movie starts off normal , but then the sound lags

im having the same problem...my laptop (which ive attached to my larger monitor) is like a piece of shit...
