84 and 83 are worse :(
Got one of those first semester and the other last semester
lol i reckon 74s are worse :p

84s are frustrating because you were so close to a HD, but 74s are worse becayse they're worth 5 GPA wise so it drags your GPA down under the Honours bracket, and the way i see it at least, for every C you need a HD to even it back out :p

At uws - C = 5, D = 6, HD = 7... added and divided by the number of units

1st semester 1st year i got 3Cs n a D so GPA was 5.25... 2nd semester on i got Ds and HDs, so GPA is now 6.063.

6 is the minimum for Honours I (for law at least).

Aw thanks Mel :)
and btw congratulations on the macq transfer

there were so many transfers
about 9 of my UTS friends have gone to UNSW...

I didn't apply to transfer though, I'm happy at UTS.

Make sure you go to macq law camp mel

I may be going to law camp as a 2nd year camp leader. Just waiting to hear from them.

Are your UWS law subjects going to be given credits at macq?

Most likely all of them except their criminal law subject is split into two and they do it in the same year where as at UWS you do criminal law in first year and criminal procedure in the later years so I will get credit most likely for:

Criminal Law I
Torts
Law, Lawyers and Society
Jurisprudence (Not sure abt this one)
and all my soc sci subjects
