Hi,

I was thinking of doing a Social Science/Law degree but the program structure means I have to do Contracts 1 and Public Law, in addition to Foundations of Law in Session 1. Then in session 2, I have to take Contracts 2 along with Torts.

Do you think doing so many Law units concurrently without any law experience would be difficult to do?

Thanks for your help.

yeah it's not ideal, but if you give extra attention to readings you should be able to go well

plus you will be more experienced than the rest of the foundations and torts candidates because you've read way more cases

i'd recommend getting stuck into the readings asap so that you're doing it for interest and not to keep up with class

my first law sem i did all law!

and of the 3 subjects i got 2 ds and one C (72) which wasnt too bad
but i think law first year is better at uts based on what my friends felt about it

keep ur mind on the job- most people strayed because they paid too much attention to an assignment over a small time period
