agreed about atreyu - isn't it the name of the white fluffy thing from the neverending story? there's decent screamo bands, and then there's just tuneless bullshit. which is the category which atreyu fits nicely under.

but going back to le tigre, i downloaded 'deceptacon' and i have to say that it wasn't half bad.

I saw them play at the Gaelic club a few weeks back, and it was the first time I had heard the band name let alone there music. It wasn't bad at all - very different to what I usually listen to but great all the same.

le tigre are really cool, not the most talented band on earth but if they can get me smiling and my arse shaking, they have achieved their goal.

scenesters and le tigre have no relation. look at atreyu and from first to last and see the little scene kids who like the with their fringes and bad ass screaming. www.myspace.com and you will see what i mean
