Lecture Attendance (Linguistics) and Arts Elective question (1 Viewer)

Hey everyone, I do Arts/Law currently and I have two questions.

I'm dropping Psych through my arts degree, and I need to do an arts elective for two semesters. I want to pick up Linguistics in Sem 2 —*ARTS1691 which has no pre-requisite.

Two things;
does this count towards my arts elective?
Do linguistics lectures take attendance?

Not sure if it counts towards an elective on not,
but at the moment in ARTS1690, they don't take attendance in lectures, not sure if it will be the same next semester though.
