I am new to Aus and hopefully going to Macquarie next year to do b.comm. How long are lectures and tutorials usually and how many hours each week? Are the lecturers cool or are they crusty and old?

1-3 h(s)/lecture. Usually 2. 1-2 h(s)/tutorial. Often 1.
Will depend on how m8 defines "cool" .

usually 1 hour, sometimes 2 hours. some of the evening elctures may go for 3 hours.

for 3 to 4 hours per week including 1 hour of tutorial per subject

some are old, some are young, some are smart, some are dumb
