does anyone know any 2011 discrimination cases or articles?
i found this one about a muslim guy attacked by telstra in SMH 2010 however i can't find out what happened after that; as in remedies etc.
i cannot seem to find cases on the fair work website =.=... can anyone please link me?

I can't think of any major ones (like for big companies) but I often hear ACA report about discrimination in local shops.

You can alway use a media report

Same , I've not heard of a major one - but in Green Valley McDonald's a womans scarf was pulled off :/
Absolute bloody bastards whoever did it , but I guess that is one form of discrimination - look it up on google , hope I helped !

As long as it is in Australia.

You could probably use the France and head dress thing, but since it is in Europe i don't believe so.

I used one for my Legal Studies exam. It's Mayer v. Australian Science and Technology Organisation (2003) the plantiff was fired because she was pregnant. As such, when she returned she didn't receive her job back as the job was terminated. The court stipulated that this was discrimination (sex) and the company was required to give that specific job back to her including her salary.
