also, it was economic factors for that q about retirement

self-interest is people getting satisfaction from crime... borderline American psycho.

economic is where they want some form an economic gain, hence it was eco
No it is Self-Interest. Economic refers to someone being in poverty/disadvantage and using crime to alleviate their struggles. Self-Interest is about greed, which related more to the scenario.

Yes, but they were trying to fund a luxury holiday or something similar from memory. Their desire for money was motivated more by materialism than a desperate need for cash
i could see how it is self interest but also economic

Upon further examination, it genuinely falls under both categories. Economic factors are usually conducted by but are not limited to low socioeconomic households/individuals. As per the Cambridge textbook, "offenders view criminal activity as a way of gaining economic benefit", which would fit this question (the economic benefit being money for a holiday). Self-interest also applies since it is technically 'greedy' but that's a very subjective term and what quantifies materialistic desire is a bit vague.

I am pretty confident in saying they will permit both answers as it can be argued for both.
PLSSSS I HOPE SO
