I've got an half-yearly tomorrow, and as I flipped through this (subject) marvellous text, I realised how little we've looked at in class and in our shiney Longman text book.

Anyone else coming to the same realisation?

Ugh, our teacher's just a bit...business-studies.
Most lessons are just spent talking about the economic consequences of the law; ugh.

I keep getting the feeling I'm going to have to do a lot of self-teaching, with the help of BoredOS of course ^___^

lol how weird, i remember that happening with some teachers when i was in year 9, would end up talking about another subject all the time!   how annoying
LOL, my teacher doesn't talk about other subjects, we (the class) just seem to end up talking about non-legal stuff - football, his wife and kids, what happened to so and so etc etc etc

LOL, but he's a great teacher so...

OMG dont get me started on teachers
our teacher is ok but the girls in our class dont let him teach they keep interrupting him etc and coz hes a little bit all over the shop it just makes him worse! Nearly every single lesson the class ends up fighting with him and it either ends with half the girls walking out or him refusing to teach us anything it is soooo frustrating for those of us in the class that actually want to learn something
mainly we have to teach ourselves coz of all the disruptions

take it from someone who got a band six for legal studiesi believe that if you needed to rely on this text to study for legal studies that is a big no no. my best advice for you is to plan your time wisely you will come to the realisation how interesting and fascinating legal studies is if you manage your time

well the key is to read from a variety of sources to make sure that you have all the correct info and all the info that is required. though i usually advise that minimal effort ont eh part of learning is best, i also encourage to study smart not to study hard.

when i mean minimal effort in learning, it means knowing the definitions already. but then the application requires minimal effort. i think having a calm, cool collected mind, it should be easy with the logic that is required in legal studies.
