Okay Guys,
My teacher have gave me a Legal Study essay writing checklist. This checklist is mainly for legal studies but may be used for english essays in some instances.

Here it is:
a)Question attack
1. Is the essay a relevant answer to the question?
2. Is every aspect and every significant word of the question considered and answered?
3. Is all the essay specifically relevant to the question or is there marginally relevant story telling?

b)Structure
4. Does the thesis (introduction) show question attack?
5. Does the thesis OUTLINE the factual content of the essay?
6. Does the thesis introduce the argument?
7. Is the argument (body) of the essay divided into paragraphs, each dealing with a single point?
8. Is there a definite reiteration (conclusion) summing up your point of view and consolidating the factual support of the essay?

c)Content
9. Are there enough facts to support the argument?
10. Are the facts accurate?
11. Are the facts logically used and supported by cases/articles/acts?

d)Style
12. Is the essay written in grammatical sentences?
13. Are spelling and punctuation satisfactory?
14. Is the essay coherent and fluent?
15. Is the essay completed?

E = Excellent VG = Very Good G = Good S = Satisfactory P = Poor

Make sure you go through this checklist thoroughly.

Hope this have helped :)
