ive got this discrepancy in my notes (ive probably copied something down worng at some stage) and i was wondering if somebody sould clear it up....

i have that leptons have no charge and little or no mass, but then i have that electrons are leptons...

im confused.... can anybody out there help me?

notes are wrong

Leptons are fermionic particles with little or no mass
they can have a charge, and yes an electron is a lepton

thankyou for that, i have NO IDEA where that no charge statement came from....

there's lots of more detailed threads about the entire standard model
if you find any more discrepancies
