I liked it, becasuse it related to modern developments in physics.
So, who else got oppositely charged particles, proton from right to left, electron from left to right?
Also 2.5 x 10^-2 Teslas for the field.
That was the hardest question from me. Even Q30)e) was easy in comparison.

Wow, thats what I got as well: 0.025

The person marking is going to be XD, since I got that and actually wrote below "I think I'm wrong how can the LHC only be this strong".

In my trials, I wrote things like that all over my maths papers tehe. I refrained for the real thing however lol.

ohh and i seen the projectile motion with the plates and i was like :eek: Skip,
But that was the only one i skipped, the rest Wasn't that hard

hmm yea thats what i thought, arent real LHC the strongest magnetic fields on the planet.... use around 10T?
i seen 0.025 and got a bit worried

Oh yay, i was worried that i was wrong too because of the small value bahahaha XD

That's a shame, projectile wasn't too hard...

The LHC uses supermagnets expected to operate at a field strength of 8.36 Tesla.

The world record for field strength in a dipole magnet was shattered in April 1997, by researchers at the Ernest Orlando Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (Berkeley Lab). A one-meter long superconducting electromagnet, featuring coils wound out of 14 miles of niobium-tin wire, reached a field strength as high as 13.5 Tesla. The previous high of 11.03 Tesla was set by a Dutch group in 1995.

10 T still doesn't sound like much to me...

o_O but i wrote 2.5 x 10^-2 you should visit an optometrist...
