Yup! I tested it out..
- Connects your facebook account to your BOS account
- Asks to import your facebook likes, birthday and location into BOS (you can choose to decline all three)
- Has a 'Publish to Facebook' option every time to post on BOS (Not for posts in Non-School)

I personally am not seeing the appeal =)

For some reason, I don't like the idea but I guess no one is going to like new ideas immediately :)

On initial signup you can switch it so no one can see posts made here.

As I said, we are just trialling it.

Me thinks this might be better off in another section..

Say you like a thread you've posted in. Most friends could probably tell who you are by your writing style if not your username. Also, the actual content of what you've said may also reveal who you are.

Then your internet anonymity is gonnnnnneeeee

It's only a trial and the specifics are bring worked out. The eventual aim is to make it easier for people to come and use bos.

If you don't like it then don't use it. Simple

I understand the whole anonymity thing but I think it's time to grow up. It's like trying to keep your favourite band to yourself. If you don't spread the word, how will they make enough money to keep going?
Wouldn't you like to share the experience with your friends? I know talking on the internet has helped me cope and I think we should be able to let others do the same.
With that being said, I don't like to connect everything to facebook so I probably won't use the feature. That doesn't mean that others shouldn't though. :)

I'd rather the posts that I've made on this account aren't associated with my facebook.
And you can encourage people to come here, but I'd rather not spam my news feed about it.
