Im looking at either Macquarie, UNSW, or Sydney uni and Im thinkin that to make the transition from ruralness to the big smoke as undistressing as possible I should probably stay on campus for first year.

So, is it easy to get a room? On what grounds are you accepted and when shuold I apply?

My major qualm is with the grossness of sharing kitchen facilities and bathrooms and things.
And of course the cost. eek.

It is moderately easy to get in to accomodation. It realy depends on the University. Going from the "outback" to the city is definently a change!
