If you don't remember taking it, ask your parents to see if you've taken it (I'm not kidding, it might've been too long ago to remember).

The pledge is usually done at some town hall and everyone repeats this pledge after the mayor the you'd "pledge you allegiance to Australia and its people" etc etc

lol if i have taken it, i would have been 5 years old (dont think 5 year olds take it?) so i would have to answer NO to that question cause it says "But have not taken the pledge". If thats a no (and no to other questions that popup), it says that im not elegible for HECS?

i think if you recieved your australian citizenship at the age of 5 you wouldn't need to do the pledge...as you wouldnt know how to read yet..
besides.. at such a young age i don't think they would make you.. and also you recieve the certificate at the pledge ceromony...soooo all in all.. what i'm trying to say is.. you have done the pledge... otherwise... how would you of gotten that certificate!

hey guys sorry to jump in, but how important are these questions anyway at this time, like cant we change the answers later on if any of the answers we gave are causing a problem of any sort?

like i was kinda in a rush to get to my timetable so i kinda flew by certain questions and am sure i made a mistake on one, Q do u expect to finish ur program in session1? i said YES (stupid i know), i cant change it now but can i change it later sometime? Wil this cause problems?

Did every one else get this question while enrolling? Cause im looking at that info pack they sent us (showing how to enroll online) and it doesn't have that question showing (just skips it).

Hi again,

Is "HECS Election - Upfront 100% payment option" equivalent to Full Fee paying? It never gave me the option to choose to either deger my HECS or pay in Full?

No, Full HECS is different from Fees.
When I did my enrolment, there were three options:
Upfront
Defer
Defer with partial payment.

Check again. Have you fill in other info correctly before the HECS section?

ok, there is three HECS payment options you can choose from.
Upfront HECS is when you pay the cost of year 1 altogether and get 25% discount.
HECS partial is when you pay a minimum of $500 of the cost of first year, and get 25% discount.
HECS defer is when you pay nothing and no discount is given to you.

Fees is for international student or some rich kids who kind of buy their way for a postion in uni. they pay up to $12 000 a year. whereas the maximum HECS people pay per year is around $6500 a year (band 3 HECS - the highest)

Eligible students who are Australian citizens, Australian Permanent Residents or New Zealand citizens contribute to the cost of their education by paying a Federal Government charge called the Higher Education Contribution Scheme (HECS). Students who are New Zealand citizens and permanent residents of Australia pay HECS upfront without discount until they provide evidence that they are exempted from this requirement.
Ok it's got down there that i am Australian Permenaent residence but it doesn't say that i'm an Australian Citizen. So thats why it didn't give me those HECS options (which is similar to what the example shows in the guides they sent us). I might contact them and see whats going on.
