yeah i picked the chick being the prisoner too
the polar bear was a good twist. even if it was a shit polar bear. it was a bloody albino polar bear, no normal polar bear has pink skin. i thought there would be some signal on the radio from the island but was thinking more of some secret research base not another distress call. i have to say i am liking this. it's pretty good

The first half an hour was pretty boring in my opinion. It was the last fifteen minutes that made it worth it.

i think the 16 years and 5 months thing will come back in later... it seems very significant imo.

That punjab/arabic guy seems pretty cool, more so than the arrogant white guy.
But with a show like this, im sure the punjab/arabic guy will have a shocking secret revealed later on, and the arrogant white guy will be the forever cynical american hero.

Kimberley Joseph. She's the airline hostess who asked Jack if he wanted a drink. She's only in the flashbacks to the plane though.

I think that the flashbacks are really good. Its really helping to fill in the parts that are missing.

They sorta devote an episode to each character (next week's is Kate) and show flashbacks of their past. The flashbacks mainly show what they were doing in Australia, or at least, why they got on the plane.

23 eps this season. Originally ordered for 22, but they got an order for an extra episode. Possibly for a 2 part season finale??

and now there is news that another extra episode has been ordered, giving this season a total of 24 episodes

they went and got the tranceiver from the cockpit, and then sayid fixed it but they only had limited battery, they went up to higher ground so to get a better signal but when they got there they found that somebody else was already transmitting a message. It was in french and said "somebody help me, it killed them all" followed by a number. The number ment how many times the message had been looped. So they couldnt send a message because one was already transmitting.

And I remember them saying (after they figured out what was being said on the transceiver meant), that there might have already been people on the island before. This gets me thinking...I reckon they're all part of some sort of experiment - like a set up.
Oh, yeah, what about that random polar bear showing up eh?
