does anyone know if macleay college has a dress code?
hopefully not, the thought of being able to wear thongs to uni/college had gotten me through 13 years of school shoes

hey umm well when i went to the open day a girl asked and he said no there is no uniform but you are to dress smart sophistacted, like no jeans, but i guess it will still be fairly flexiable, what course did you apply for?

I've been there 2 times in the past few weeks to have a meeting and to hand in an application and the guy pointed out that the dress is very casual. People were wearing jeans, thongs etc. The only time you need to dress up was during work experience or going somewhere for stories etc. the court house.

Applied for Journalism... fingers crossed, hope I hear from them soon.

No there is no dress code. Kind of a late reply! I started last year and everyone read the handbook that said Macleay had a "smart" dress code...but it's bull shit. Wear whatever. People rock up in thongs and jeans and short shorts. Some people showed up on the first day in business-like clothes...they looked pretty silly.
