My teacher already confirmed that my topic was all good to go, but I'd like some outsider thoughts!

Basically my topic is focusing on the over-popularisation of history; what's been focused on vs neglected; events or significance figures that occurred at the same time and what was deemed more 'sellable' to the public.

Recently there's been a resurgence of mass historical figures in the media, from a comedic show of Catherine the Great to a whole 3 hour movie on Napoleon, also just found out another Gladiator movie was being made? Why...

Anyways, that's my focus-ish for my major work...

sounds fairly interesting; also heard the Napoleon movie was not very good, but I really can't remember a time where Ridley Scott cared about historical accuracy

it was defo an interesting watch...just learned about his sex life and egotistic nature towards the end of his career. and very few exaggerations that so obviously did not happen

fair enough honestly, but you have a really interesting topic, i wish i chose a topic more niche or specific like that for mine.

my topic is on how reddit evolved from a simple forum application into a tech giant. my teacher said it should be fine i find it really interesting. whats ur topic?
