Mandatory Orientation Meeting? (1 Viewer)

Apparently there's a mandatory orientation meeting for all social work students on the thursday of o-week. Can anyone weigh in on this? Are orientation meetings in o-week really mandatory? How will they know if I haven't gone? I'm moving house that day so it's kind of impossible for me to make it.

Usually these orientation things aren't that important, just official stuff... however they put "mandatory" in front of yours.

You may wish to just call them up and say that you can't make it, they may be able to depart the all important message over the phone.
