is getting around the high 50's in percentage and being ranked in the lower half of the grade of around 50-60ppl for 4U a bad thing?
honestly, it sounds scary. it looks like it'll pull me down or sumthing.

hmm... 50-60 in 4U

sound like you are in selective school.

You'll prolly end up with around 87-90 as HSC mark. Which isn't bad.

a mark of 87-90? thats unbelievable.
nah 75 is 'hard' to get in 4unit maths, lol

btw, what school do you go to, if it is a decent school and you can do about 1/2 the paper you should get and ok marks.

EDIT:

after reading your post again, what do you mean "lower 1/2" how low?

and is the high 50's raw mark or already scaled by school?

sorry cant post the test!
the late 50's percentage marks are my raw marks.
i go to a selective school/
there's about 50-60ppl doing 4U so I'd be coming like after the 40th position, I think. I dont know my position yet. But judging from my marks and other stuff, that would be my position - or even lower!

hmm.... then mabe you mark will be closer to 85. I still think 75 is far too low.

dont assume selective skools have low average for tests

in my grade the top pplz are averaging 90 -.-"

our tests are fairly easy... which pisses me off

it means that the gap between every1 is gunna b close... and harder to get higher rank ... arghhzzz

what kinds of questions do they ask at non-selective schools. our one are so hard. u need to understand the question sooooo well to start working it out bcos ther's so many ways to work out one question. sum ppl like me take the wrong method and end up with a long stupid answer which is not the answer!

so what kind of questions do u get? say for complex numbers in your half-yrlys?
