apparently all mars bars and snickers are being recalled! its just been extended to all retail stores in NSW. i thought i'd never see the day my fave chocolates would be off the shelf. all becuase a few bars were contaminated.


so, now it's unsafe to eat either mars bars or snickers bought in NSW.

yeah, 7 bars, and they had to stop selling them in all of NSW.

A state-wide recall for a mere 7 mars bars that have been contaminated (allegedly). As serious as the issue may be, I cannot help but think that the reaction is slightly over the top, even though it's a fair precaution to take.

well, initial studies found an unknown substance was detected but results were inconclusive. ah what the hell.

If there Is a legitimate threat, and somebody gets sick because they did not recall their product, then the company that produces the product would be sued for what would probably be the cost of the recall, Plus there would never be any more consumer confidence in their product.
