What is the general dropout % rate for both? I am thinking of doing 1141 but not sure if I am able to handle the extra workload.

What are the advantages of doing 1141 instead of 1131? assuming the student is capable

What maths did you just do and how did you go in the recent HSC results?

Don't know the dropout rates for either but 1141 scales up whilst 1131 scales down. Content wise, both consist of the same topics but 1141 goes into more depth + harder questions than 1131. The difference in difficulty is slightly smaller than the gap between 3U and 4U imo.

Okay thanks! How difficult is it to get a D or HD in 1141? I am willing to put in the effort

I crammed 1141 and scraped a HD. My combined mark was around 180.

Projectile motion from MX1 and Mechanics from MX2 are handy for PHYS11X1 so it's worth learning if you need to do Physics 1A.
