hey guys..i'm sure this is easy but i cant think too well right now.. for the For the Equation: y = √2χ-3,
I know the domain is χ > 1.5, but I was just wondering what the range for that equation was?..if neone could help that would b greatly appreciated..thanks xo

wait a minute ...

after thinking .. shouldn't it be for all real Y values?

coz .. if you square-root a number (eg: 25) ... squaring both +5 and -5 will give you 25.

so yeah .. .. i think that:

y= all real values.

nah. square roots can only be positive. that's how the operation is defined, and that's why you write +/- sqrt instead of just sqrt.
it would be written as y^2 = 2x - 3 if that were the case.
