esp changing perspective
wat hav ur teachers said about it???

and if ne1 has "stolen children" as their core text, how many stories are u gonna use in ur response?
u using the perspectives section as well?

Matrix is a very nice, easy to understand (well, relatively!) text which shows changing perspectives...

You have the one of Neo from the matrix to the "real world", and obviously of those before him who have gone through the same change of perspective,
and you have the perspective of the audience, which presumably changes over the course of the film. ('what is real')

so yes, it's a great text to use, other than what mssr skunk has said already.

how much do u need to talk about film technique for the matrix?

eg. extreme close up of morpheus' face when Neo has to decide between the red pill and the blue pill, can see reflection of his options in his sunglasses

techniques are important, very important. you can talk about plot all you like but unless you back it up with HOW, markers will probably stick you in band 4/5 instead of six where you belong
