For someone that hopes to study the melbourne jd it seems pretty exciting, especially the chance to study for a year at oxford. The competition is probably going to be extremely tough though

I thought it was hot stuff too, until a friend told me, if you are of the calibre to get in Oxbridge/NYU through the program (top 5% or so of Melbourne Law), then you should be able to get in without the program.

trust me, melbourne JD is going to be world class within 5-10 years. i think the melbourne model is bullshit generally but it works for grad law - smaller cohort, even more exclusive and plus you get the big ol law building to yourself.

so you finally choose to go to usyd? i was thinking about meet you up in unsw's jd class, anyway you've made a smart decision. if my ielts gets its requirement i would have gone to usyd too. btw, it's already had a bunch of us top law schools in the exchange list, so just fight for it!
