Specifically with USYD's merit scholarships, when they ask for "HSC trial result (if available)", do they mean your trial exam results (e.g. XX% raw mark in a trial exam), cumulative mark after the trials (e.g. XX% raw mark in a subject across the whole year) or your reported internal mark after alignment and whatnot (although this would be ridiculous, considering that the applications close long before that's out)?

Similarly, when they ask for "Position in year at trial", do they mean your position in a specific trial exam (e.g. 3rd in the chemistry trial exam), or do they mean your internal rank across the year (e.g. graduated with 3rd in chemistry overall)?

Thank you.

Your raw mark and rank for the trial exams.
