She makes easily digestible, accesible, catchy pop rock music. That stuff doesn't particularly excite me, but its better than a lot of other stuff out there...

...hold on a sec, for michelle to sound like shakira wouldnt that mean that shakira would've had to be around before her?
Shakira only released global pop very recently, way after spirit room and michelles prior album.
