Just wondering, would it be "bad" to write an imaginative from the perspective of another character in a mod C text if the stimulus doesn't specifically ask for it? Would it seem to the markers like I'm just memorising and recycling my imaginative regardless of the stimulus?

As an hsc marker I would encourage you to do something like that as it’s exactly what is required. The stimulus will require you to write about a specific topic so make sure that is clear for you .
